Lower Stondon Surgery

Coronavirus update

Recent advice and guidance released by Public Health England and taking a common sense approach, the surgery will be screening on the day bookings for clinical reasons.
Staff at the Surgery will be asking why you need to attend an appointment. Patients with a cough, fever and shortness of breath will be directed to  NHS 111.

Please do not turn up at the Surgery to try to book an appointments, as you are likely to be turned away.

We will be only taking telephone bookings as we need to assess your specific clinical needs. If you believe you have a cough, fever and shortness of breath, please contact NHS Direct on 111.
The impact and consequences of the Corona virus are making it challenging for the Surgery and wait times may increase.

Please do not express your frustration at the staff on the end of the telephone as they are doing their best in these challenging times.
You can continue to drop off samples, collect prescriptions but again, we ask you not to attend the Surgery if you have a cough, fever and shortness of breath, please contact NHS Direct on 111.
